About Rutherford Junior High School

Rutherford Junior High School is a co-educational, middle school, that caters for students in Years 7 & 8. Our Core Values of Respect, Justice, Hard-work and Self-Control, provide a framework for the development of real life skills; skills that will ensure success for our students when they move onto high school and onto the workplace.

Our small family friendly school means we know each of our students indvidually and we welcome your input as parents and caregivers. Parents and caregivers are an integral part of our school life, we make every effort to keep you informed of your child’s progress. Formal reports and student led conferences happen twice a year.

We have outstanding facilities onsite, these include:

• An Information Centre where students have access to the library and ICT communication technologies.
• A gymnasium that includes basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, fitness training areas and lecture room.
